I had the chance for another morning trip out to the Pemi, again, below the Bristol dam. When we arrived the water was already at least 3 feet high than the previous week and the fish seemed to be more spread out. After a while of casting hopelessly to the massive river, we decided to walk upstream to the other side of the bridge. There was more pocket water and slower pools along the edge. With sink tip line and shiny nymphs we were able to save the day from being skunked and pull out a rainbow and a brown. No salmon for us today.
