Fall in the Roaring Fork Valley

Sadly I’m back in New Hampshire at school and away from Colorado. It was a quick 9 day trip with a couple of college visits and several ‘relaxing’ days built into the schedule. Fall came relatively late this year up in the higher elevation and the RFV was at it’s prime. Since I’m normally at school during the fall, this was my first time in CO at this time of the year, and first time fall fishing  also.

A great last day to be in CO for awhile.

The fishing was pretty unsuccessful but as always it was nice to get out and learn a new section of the Roaring Fork near Glenwood. It seems like you always have to have those bad days before you figure things out and  get into the swing of things. Looking forward to head into my second season of winter fishing and head back to the Fork!
